Looking to upgrade your 2.5 Ton Steering to the new F-Ton steering? This kit includes:

  • 2 new forgings preloaded with our TruTaper ball joints
  • 2 jam nuts
  • 2 serrated washers
  • 2 lock nuts 

NOTE: The UD60 JL axles use a JK taper for the tie rod and the knuckle end of the drag link. IMPORTANT: You MUST use a JL tapered end for the pitman arm end. The JL pitman arm uses a much larger taper than a JK and using a JK taper will result in binding and potentially catastrophic failure of the drag link end. Our F-Ton steering kit comes with the correct tapers for JL/JT UD60 axles.

What does the “F” in F-Ton stand for? First and foremost, it stands for Fusion. As in, our own, not rebranded parts from another company. A few other things it stands for:

  • Fawk Ton: 17% stronger forgings than our previous 2.5 Ton Steering, and 25% larger ball joint ends as compared to OEM steering.
  • Fawk around and find out: The more you fawk around, the more you will find out about how strong this steering is. Manage to push it too far and find out about the lifetime warranty covering bent or broken forgings or aluminum.
  • Freedom: To drop F-Bombs on any rock that gets in your way.  

Forgings


  • Forged Rod Ends: Made from a unique Medium Carbon Steel followed by a proprietary heat treat process to maximize strength while minimizing the probability of breaking.
  • Fully E-Coated: Forgings are fully E-coated, including the threads, reducing any chance of galvanic corrosion when used with aluminum.
  • 3" Forward Offset: Drag Link end 3" offset ensures ample clearance for track bar brackets       
  • OEM Wheel Fitment: Fits OEM 17" wheels. No lift or different backspace wheel required.
  • Massive 1-1/4" Shank Ends: Go big so you can drive home.              

Ball Joints

  • Fusion TruTaper: Ball studs for every application that match the OE taper vs. using a lower cost and weaker approach of a straight stud and an adapter. TruTaper studs are far stronger than straight studs with inserts.
  • Massive Ball Stud: 25% larger than OEM steering for maximum durability and designed to be the longest lasting in the industry.       
  • Low Profile: More space between the tie rod and drag link for improved clearance on applications with a lot of up-travel.
  • Greaseable: For extended service life. 

  • Anti-flop Inside: Both Tie Rod and Drag Link ends have built-in misalignment limitation in one direction to maximize steering stiffness and steering feel. 
  • Sealed Ends: All rod ends are sealed with a heavy duty boot to keep the bad stuff out.
